"Absolutely terrible service"
Absolutely terrible service. I was forced to give my expensive leather hand bag to check in (downstairs storage) on the gates because when they reach 70 bag limit they push all the bags downstairs. Staff was rude and to my complaints simply answered “I don’t care”

"Scammers!!!"
Stood in line for checking 2h( had a kid And stroller so coudnt online check in) was late for flight becouse they are slow... One person checking in for all airline... Blamed us and refused refund!!! Dont use this airline ever. Scammers!

"Child does not get compensated from Transavia"
Transavia chose to fly without our luggage, the result was the first three days on our skiing holiday without any off our items.

When it arrived at the airport, our guides were kind enough to take the 3 hour drive to the airport and back to pick it up. Transavia would not deliver it and they said, that if we did not pick it up, Transavia would have sent it back to our home adress.

Transavia is not willing to compensate for the necessary items we bought for our 11 year old daugther. Their argument is, that she did not fill out a seperat PIR report at the airport. I included her on my PIR report which was by instructions of the airport and Transavia by phone. She does not speak english.

Now I have to take legal actions for 314 euro covering underwear, a t shirt, a helmet, gloves and so on. I paid the ski rental my self and also borrowed most clothes to make it cheaper.

"First time flying with them and also…"
First time flying with them and also the last time. Flight was delayed + notice of the delay came too late. Could have used my time and money better than sitting at the airport waiting.

"Scandalous"
First disappointment: after having organized a weekend for my sister in Venice 2 months in advance, Transavia announces to me 1 month before departure, a change of schedule for the return flight from 8 p.m. to... 8 a.m.

I change company for the flight black, but keep the first flight with Transavia.

Second episode: The day of departure, 4 hours before the flight (YES, YES), Transavia cancels the flight without any explanation to date.

I call their customer service right away, no replacement flight is offered to me, including the next day, but I make them confirm that the costs incurred (including hotel and return flight) will be reimbursed.

My sister goes back home.

3rd good surprise: Transavia refuses to reimburse me for expenses incurred (hotel, return flight), exact opposite of what was announced.

4th disappointment: I am told that it is because I did not take a "replacement flight" ???!!!!!!!!???

It's a joke. I think I'm hallucinating. Never seen that. Everyone around us shares the same feeling.

Transavia, if you have operational difficulties, do not make your customers bear them.

What was supposed to be a nice birthday present turns into a disappointment and a bad dream.

It's scandalous.

"Worst experience ever"
Worst experience ever. Horrible customer support. Cancelled our outgoing flight and offered a new two days later. When we cancelled this flight our return flight was also cancelled and we did not get our money back.

"I do not recommend transavia!"
I do not recommend transavia!
On our return flight from Amsterdam to ALICANTE, our stroller came back broken.
We reported it immediately at the counter and then had to file a claim online.
After sending a lot of back and forth with transavia (each question different email).
In the end, they want a report that it can't be repaired!
They are responsible for this damage and should fix it, unfortunately this is not the case leaving my under 2 year old daughter without transportation.
Transavia refused to find another solution and therefore will not compensate us for the damage either!

"They make it impossible to get reimbursed"
They changed our return airport from Rotterdam to Amsterdam. Very inconvenient as our car is parked in Rotterdam airport (non refundable parking booked in February). We inquired prior to accepting the change if transport back to the original airport was arranged, we were told no but instead to file a claim with the invoices of the train/bus tickets. We did. They rejected it and stated that we were informed 14 days prior and that that was enough time for us to make arrangements. Uhm okay, but we already arranged everything months ago and they were nonrefundable, and whether we accepted the change or not it would still cost money (be it an extra day at a hotel or public transport cost), and the option we chose was the cheapest one. Transavia was making their problem into our problem as it was their fault that we had to incur transport cost from AMS to RTM. I am still fighting this out of principle and I am going to seek legal advice as reading here it seems that they do this a lot to the point that it's looking like this is their business model to irritate people to the point of giving up.

"Stealing money from forgotten items"
Yesterday (22.04.2023 - 20:35). I fly from Paris to Rome. I forgot my hand bag in the plane. In about 30 minutes after landing, I went to to security, and the good news is my bag was found. But literally down to every cent, all the money that I had was stolen from my purse (over 2.700 Euros). They pushed me to sign a document, didn’t give me any copy of it, they didn’t let me take a picture of it. It was almost 1 am and all they told me is go to the police tomorrow.

Do not travel with this airline.
My flight got rearranged from
Amsterdam to Rotterdam and I had no other option but to accept this change which was very inconvenient.

The way it was communicated to me at the times was that I would be entitled to apply for a refund for my train ticket due to having to travel the extra distance to reach Amsterdam central and due to the inconvenience caused. When I submitted my claim they have not accepted this stating that 14 days notice was given.

Poor customer service with no response for days to my emails.

Would never fly with this airline again.

"AVOID!!!"
Unfortunately, I must notice with complain regarding delayed flight TO-7491 from Yerevan to Paris/Orly at 19.35 on 23th of April 2022.

I had urgent plans/schedule and all my plans was broken. Paris was not my final destination

I supposed to get for at least voucher meal, one night in the hotel and compensation. But I didn’t receive anything. Unfortunately there were no representative service desk in the airport and it was weekend and the one representative in the city was closed.

-1) I had lost my train ticket from Paris to Brussels (Brussels was my final destination) planned on 24th of April
-2) I extra booked by myself one more night in Yerevan hotel, as I didn’t get clear information from Transavia chat what I must to do in such situation. I just didn’t want to stay and sleep on the street or at the airport because of huge time delay
-3) I extra booked new ticket from Paris to Brussels by bus (because I didn’t have any other options how to get to final destination till 25th of April). I came to Brussels at 3.45 a.m

During the poor conversation between managers from Transavia I didn’t get information why the flight was canceled. Reception desk in the airport of Yerevan didn’t have any information as well.
I also have copy of all stupid conversations with Transavia and can proof that no one from the company didn’t explain the current situation regarding the delayed flight.
This is absolutely horrible airline, avoid it as possible as you can.

"Transavia has no respect for your health and time"
I had many good experiences with Transavia but when things go wrong they are extremely unhelpful and rude.

I had multiple situations in which my flight was canceled or rescheduled. Most of the time this was fine. We could find a good alternative and it worked well.

Recently, I had a flight rescheduled to a different day, a different origin city, and at a different time. Neither the city, day, nor time was good for me. I reached out to their customer support to ask if they could find an alternative or cover the costs of a flight from another airline. They said they would only reschedule to another Transavia flight because the reschedule happened with more than 14 days in advance. However, they wouldn't cover the extra accommodation costs and extra transportation costs even though they were forcing me to leave one day earlier.

I tried to explain that this change was affecting my plans and was difficult in terms of logistics due to my dietary restrictions. However, they didn't care and stopped replying to my messages.

I had to switch from their WhatsApp chat to Facebook chat in order to get a reply again. Once again they refused to covered the costs for another flight. So I ended up having to reschedule to another flight the day before my trip and had to find a hotel to stay where I would not be able to eat due to my dietary restrictions.

For a company that belongs to the KLM group I found this quite disappointing. KLM even has a KLM Cares phone line for this kind of situations but Transavia doesn't seem to care or be understanding at all.

If you can I would totally recommend that you avoid this company when booking your flights. When things go wrong they won't be at all understanding.

"Do not fly with them"
Do not fly with them - Terrible service - I booked via KLM whom owns Transavia. But I could not select seats on the Transavia flight because I booked via KLM.

I had no problem paying for the seat selection, but there was no help. Transavia chat support could also not help and told me it would be no problem making the seat selection when checking in. At the check-in counter in Marrakech, the check-in personnel spoke very bad English and refused to change our seats, we were four persons. She said we had the best seats, row 32, which I showed her on seat-guru.com, was the worst seats on the flight, back of the plane by the toilets. She didn't care.

On the flight, the service was equally bad and arrogant during service.

"I flew on Today"
I flew on Today, on the TO3520 from Paris Orly to Athens. At first was a bit surprised with the cabin baggage policy but everything went really smooth. I have been absolutely and massively surprised by the crew and the attendants for the amazing way they all have been doing their job. Special Mention to Capucine who should be inspiring many of Flight attendants. Punctuality, and really pleasant surprise with the service. Lovely experience !!!

"AVOID!"
AVOID!

Treated us like cattle during boarding, making us wait god knows how long in a parking lot without communication. No information regarding delays. Bad customer service through only facebook or whatsapp. No food or drinks on three hour flight. Lost our luggage. Messy frustrated crowded check in that took over an hour, even in a relatively short priority queue.

The little money you save by flying with transavia is NOT WORTH IT.
